Rahul Mukherjee is Associate Professor of TV and New Media in the Department of Cinema & Media Studies at University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Radiant Infrastructures: Media, Environment, and Cultures of Uncertainty (DUP, 2020) and is currently working on a book about mobile media distribution. His articles have been published in Journal of Visual Culture, Critical Inquiry, and Science, Technology & Human Values. He has co-edited special issues related to digital platforms in India (Asiascape) and another regarding media power in Digital Asia with a focus on superapps and megacorps (Media, Culture & Society).
