Jake Pitre / Concordia University

Jake Pitre is a PhD student in Film and Moving Image Studies at Concordia University. He received his Master’s degree in Film Studies from Carleton University. His work has been published in Transformative Works and Cultures, and he has a chapter in the edited collection Representation in Steven Universe (Palgrave 2020). His research brings together platform studies and theories of queer futurity to chart political valences, identities, and potentialities within digital media.
