Dr. Andrew Stubbs-Lacy is a senior lecturer of Film Industries and Studies, and coordinator of postgraduate research, at Staffordshire University. His monograph, titled The Talent Management of Indie Authorship: From American independent cinema and short “films” to pay-TV and streaming and published by Edinburgh University Press in 2024, explores the roles that talent managers and producers play in packaging and promoting screen media products by constructing their clients and collaborators as indie-auteurs.
