Alex Hack is a PhD student in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California, where she also acquired her MA, previously attending Parsons School of Design and specializing in the field of communication design. Her current research uses phenomenology and Black feminisms to dissect White neo/liberalism’s (lack of) dimensionality, focusing on digital media, the invisible, and matters of minoritized experience and embodiment that remain unreal and undervalued.
